Meet Lisa

Lisa Anna Palmer is a Certified LIA Coach with Maurice Thibodeau, A Passion Test Facilitator with Janet Bray Attwood, and an Extreme Leadership Facilitator with Steve Farber, and a Certified Expert Speaker. She is the international bestselling author of Light A Fire In Their Hearts: The Truth About Leadership, Founder of Light Your Leadership Inc. (LYLI), and creator of the LYLTalks podcast. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Ottawa.

Lisa loves to help people connect with their 'inner leader' so that they can live their best lives. She coaches, mentors, and delivers talks internationally to help people elevate and scale their leadership so that they can learn to love life and become the type of leader people love to work with. She draws on over 30 years of experience, including six years with a Big Six consulting firm, and close to fourteen years working with two federal Canadian employers in a range of senior HR and organizational and leadership development roles. Lisa was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by the age of thirty-four and burned out three times by the age of 38. As a result, she devoted her life’s work to elevating leadership and reducing workplace suffering, one leader at a time.  She struck out on her own in 2011 with Cattelan Palmer Consulting and then founded Light Your Leadership Inc. in 2020.

She’s been recognized for her work including being selected Chair of The Year for Extreme Leadership Mastermind in 2022 (with Steve Farber & Maurice Thibodeau), Outstanding Leadership at the MoRE 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas in 2023, was on the cover CIO’s Business World magazine for Most Impressive Women Entrepreneurs, Making Waves in the Industry in 2023, and was featured as one of Industry Era Magazine’s Top 10 Most Inspiring Women for 2022, and Top 100 Canadian Professionals in 2020.
